Brand kits

Your logos, colours, fonts and music.

A brand kit holds material only. No editorial instruction lives in one, so nothing in it changes what your scripts say.

What a kit holds

A kit is split into two tabs.

TabSections
VISUALSLOGOS, COLORS, FONTS, GRAPHICS
AUDIOMUSIC

COLORS carries a PRIMARY and a SECONDARY list, so a kit can hold a house pairing rather than one value. FONTS works differently: choose a typeface under Select Typeface, then add more with Add Font.

Making a kit

  1. Open the brand kits page from the left rail
  2. Choose New Brand Kit
  3. Rename it from the untitled name it opens with
  4. Add logos, colours, fonts and graphics on VISUALS
  5. Add music on AUDIO, then save

There is no naming dialog. The kit is created straight away and you name it in place, which means an abandoned kit still exists until you delete it.

Use Discard to drop changes you have not saved.

Adding visuals

  • Upload logos, or pick ones already in your account
  • Add primary and secondary colours by picker or hex value
  • Choose a primary typeface, then add secondary fonts beneath it
  • Pick graphics from your account's graphics library

Graphics are selected rather than uploaded here. Adjusting a graphic's properties inside the kit changes its default values.

Adding music

Open AUDIO and add tracks.

A kit can hold several, and a video style can draw a track from the kit rather than from Prism's own library.

How a kit reaches a video

You do not attach a brand kit at the Assignment Desk. There is no brand kit slot in the brief.

A video style links a brand kit, and the style pulls what it needs — logos, colours, fonts, graphics and music — when it builds the edit.

So the path is: brand kit holds the material, video style decides how the material is used, brief chooses the video style.

Who can see your kits

Brand kits belong to the account, not to one person. Colleagues on the same account see the kits you make, and you see theirs.

Name kits so the list stays readable when there are several.
