Script styles
Control how a script is written.
A script style governs what is said and how it is phrased — not what appears on screen.
Every video needs one. It is the second of the three slots you fill at the Assignment Desk.
Choosing one for a video
Open the SCRIPT STYLE slot and the picker appears below the brief, headed Choose script style.
Each card carries a name and a description of the writing it produces.
Use Find script style to search when the list is long.
Until a presenter, a script style and a video style are all set, both create buttons stay disabled.
What a script style holds
A script style is a saved set of writing instructions rather than a template.

Making your own
- Open the styles page and go to SCRIPT STYLES
- Choose NEW SCRIPT STYLE and give it a name
- Fill in the instructions and a description
- Set the tone, then attach any guides you want the writer to follow
- Generate an example script, read it, and save when it reads right
The example preview is the point of the screen: it shows what your instructions actually produce before you use them on a real story. Prism marks a fresh one New from Prism while it writes it, showing Generating example..., and you either Accept it or Disregard it.
Attaching guides
Open the GUIDES section and select the guides to apply. Pronunciation and style guides are listed separately.
A guide attaches to the style, so every video made with that style inherits it. Guides covers what goes in one.
Presenter modes
A presenter card shows a name and a mode line, such as PERSONALITY IN SCRIPT · VOICE ONLY.
The two modes are Personality in Script and Voice Only.
The first lets the presenter's character shape the words; the second treats the presenter as narration alone.
The mode belongs to the presenter, not the script style, but it changes the writing, so it is worth checking before you create.
Prism styles and account styles
Prism's own styles and your account's sit together in one list. Prism's are read-only — to get the same effect, write your own with similar instructions.

Where do pronunciation fixes go?
In a pronunciation guide, attached to the script style. Editing one script does not carry the fix to the next video.
