Reviewing AI changes
Accept or decline what the agent proposes.
Prism does not edit your script directly. What it produces is a set of proposed changes, marked on the blocks they affect.
Nothing is written until you accept it. Declining leaves the script exactly as it was.
Where changes appear
Proposals are shown inline, in the script itself, not in the chat panel. An affected block is tinted purple or struck through.
Each one carries its own controls. You can take some of what the agent suggested and leave the rest.
Reading a proposed change
| Change | How it looks | Accept | Decline |
|---|---|---|---|
| A rewrite | Old text struck through, new text on a purple tint | Apply | Reject |
| A new block | The whole block on a purple tint | Add | Skip |
| A deletion | The block struck through and faded | Remove | Keep |
The label always describes what accepting does. Keep on a proposed deletion keeps the block.
Changes to soundbites
A proposed soundbite reads differently, because a soundbite is a choice of footage rather than a piece of writing.
A rewritten soundbite shows the speaker changing from one name to another, the duration and title of the new quote, and the agent's reason in italics.
A newly proposed soundbite shows the same duration, title and reason.
Read the reason before you accept. The words in a soundbite are the speaker's, not the agent's, so the question is whether that quote belongs there.
Accepting and declining in bulk
When changes are pending, a bar appears above the chat composer.
Accept All applies every pending change, and shows how many are waiting. Decline All drops the whole set and writes nothing.
Duplicate proposals for the same block are removed before you see them, so one run will not ask you the same question twice.
Footage the agent found
If the agent proposed footage that is not in your project yet, a second bar offers Add All to Project, with the number waiting.
Adding brings those clips into the project library. The edit can only use footage that is in the library, so add it before you commit.
Undoing what you accepted
Accepting writes the change into the script at once, and records it in the Writers Room's undo history.
Undo steps back — one accepted change at a time, or the whole batch if you used Accept All.
Declining writes nothing, so there is nothing to undo. Ask again if you want the suggestion back.
What happens to sources
Where the agent cites a source, the citation is checked before it reaches you, and anything Prism could not verify is stripped out.
Applying a rewrite replaces the block's citations rather than carrying them over, so look over a block's sources after you accept a rewrite of it.
FAQ
Can I edit a proposal instead of accepting it?
No. Accept it and then edit the block, or decline it and write the change yourself.
Do accepted changes save straight away?
They are written into the script immediately, and the script autosaves every 30 seconds. Use Save Current Version to mark a point you can return to.
What happens to pending changes if I leave the page?
Only accepted changes are part of your script. Anything still pending is a proposal, and it is not saved with the script.
